Tasting notes:
First Impression: Pleasant cane honey notes with vanilla, cinnamon, cane syrup barrel char, oak nutmeg, dried dark fruits, dates, and touches of sweet and not so sweet caramel. While it's 151 proof it is quite mellow on the nose.
Taste: Beautiful woody notes with sweet and dark fruit and spice notes.Nice oiliness to the spirit that helps buffer the dryness and rapid warmth from the proof. A pleasant plush cushion the front overlaid with vanilla, saddle soap and wood before it settles. You could easily sip on this rum which is uncommon for 151 proof Rums.
