Georges Road are a a small winery in North Canterbury who believe in winemaking with a natural touch; a guiding hand in the cellar, to be as hands off as possible.
The best wines come from the best fruit, so the vineyard is vital. In the winery, balance is the key, the interplay between sweetness, acidity, oak and tannin, fruit and palate weight. We want our wines to be delicate, elegant, food friendly and, above all, enjoyable.
We think that Kirk and the team achieve exactly this!
A mineral driven aromatic wine with an off dry level of sweetness perfectly balanced with vibrant natural acidity. Some added textural complexity due to lees contact and ripe alcohol levels. In line with our natural winemaking philosophy this wine has not been fined or cold stabilised.
