Brookfields Ohiti Cabernet Sauvignon
The ?Ohiti Estate? vineyards lie in an inland heat trap on the bed of the old Ngaruroro River. Trained on classical VSP trellis system, on gravel soils, our Cabernet Sauvignon obtains excellent levels of ripeness, with good colour intensity, clean fruit, and ripe tannin development. All the fruit was harvested in early-April compared with normal years when the harvest is in the latter half of the month.
The grapes were harvested on the 7 th April (thus reflecting the summer heat & ideal ripening conditions) and fermented using traditional Bordeaux pump-over methods for colour and flavour development and cap management. Time on skins was three weeks and malolactic occurred after pressing, prior to going to oak barrels for about 10 months.
The Ohiti Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is an intensely dark vibrant wine which has a rich aroma, showcasing blackberry, boysenberry, spice, dried herbs, oak and vanilla, with a hint of tobacco in the background. The palate if full and flavoursome.

Courier Company
We use Post Haste and PBT to ship your order. Their lead time to delivery the parcel is 1 to 3 working days and further 2 days for rural address. In some instances it can take longer for the delivery to take place.
RETURNS POLICY
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a complete refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
