Bollinger Special Cuvee NV '007' Edition
This limited edition 007 Bollinger Special Cuvee was made to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the James Bond film, A View to A Kill. As one of cinema’s most enduring partnerships, Champagne Bollinger has released a Special Cuvee in a sleek black collector’s box whilst the bottle hosts the iconic 007 logo. The crafting of Bollinger: The delicate assembly of the expression of a harvest and reserve wines, some held in magnums between 7 and 15 years. Special Cuvée is composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged on lees more than three times longer than required by appellation regulations. Perfectly dosed at between 7 & 8 grams per litre to preserve its invigorating Brut finish. Its absorbing character comes from the use of very high proportions of Grand and Premier Cru fruit, maturation of the base Cuvée in very old barrels to enhance texture and complexity, use of high proportions of aged reserve Cuvée… completed with an incredible 4-years aging in bottle on lees.
