Saltrams Mamre Brook Shiraz 2022
Mamre Brook is the name of the original home, built in 1844 at the Saltram Estate near Angaston in the Barossa. Shiraz fruit was selected from low yielding, mature vineyards in the Barossa.
The fruit was crushed and de-stemmed before fermentation on skins took place in a variety of different fermenters. Fermentation developed intense colour and extracted soft tannins from the skins. The wine was matured in seasoned and new French and American oak barrels for twenty two months. Individual vineyard parcels were kept separate throughout the winemaking process and blended just prior to bottling.
Densely coloured and flavoured. Syrupy-soft too. Essence-like plum and blackberry with clovey, gumleaf-like tones. Creamy oak has settled into the wine nicely, giving it a smooth sheen. Its simple but substantially seductive. On a cool evening, this could well be the perfect transport. Horses for courses. Id probably be drinking it young though of course it will hold.

Courier Company
We use Post Haste and PBT to ship your order. Their lead time to delivery the parcel is 1 to 3 working days and further 2 days for rural address. In some instances it can take longer for the delivery to take place.
RETURNS POLICY
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a complete refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
