Te Kairanga John Martin Pinot Noir
Under the direction of Chief Winemaker, John Kavanagh, the Te Kairnaga winemaking philosophy places a premium on the character of the site. The 2016 John Martin Pinot Noir was handpicked from the McLeod (42%) and Home Vineyards (58%), from the Martinborough Terrace. The distinctive Abel and 777 clones dominate (33.3% respectively), while the balance is made up of equal parts UCD 13 and UCD 5. After rigorous selection on the sorting table, 80% of the grapes were destemmed and the
remaining 20% were whole bunch fermented in small stainless fermenters. Following post fermentation maceration, the wines are pressed off and aged for 12 months in French oak (25% new), before final selection for blending, fining and bottling.
The 2016 John Martin Pinot Noir has a beautiful, rich colour and a complex, layered
bouquet. The palate is juicy with fine tannins and a lingering spice character. This wine is
expected to age beautifully for several years.

We use Post Haste and PBT to ship your order. Their lead time to delivery the parcel is 1 to 3 working days and further 2 days for rural address. In some instances it can take longer for the delivery to take place.
RETURNS POLICY
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a complete refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
