Zorzal Terroir Unico Chardonnay 2020
About 90 minutes drive south from Riccatelli lie the extraordinary vineyards of Zorzal, at an altitude of 1600m. The label tells the story of Zorzal. One of the very highest vineyards, (on the drive up you stop believing that a vineyard could be planted so high), the mountains on the label are the Andes directly behind the site. The stones represent the large, round riverbed stones known as ?rolled songs? that the vines are remarkably planted on, and the mountains are also in the shape of an egg ? all wines being fermented in concrete eggs of various sizes and porosity.
The altitude results in cold nights and a huge thermal amplitude that keeps natural acidity and freshness of the grapes, but allows the generosity of the varietal to show through. Made with native yeast and fermented in concrete eggs, the resulting wines are a very pure expression of each varietal, through the lens of high altitude vines on rocky soils. With minerality, concentration and texture, these are the best value wines we found in Argentina.
This Chardonnay has golden tones with highlights of brilliant green. The aroma has a mineral aspect that stands out more obviously than the fruit, with herbal and citrusy aromas. The flavour is fresh on entry, broadening out alluringly in the mouth. It is very well balanced with its natural acidity and the finish in the mouth is of medium intensity.

We use Post Haste and PBT to ship your order. Their lead time to delivery the parcel is 1 to 3 working days and further 2 days for rural address. In some instances it can take longer for the delivery to take place.
RETURNS POLICY
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a complete refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.
