This progressive family operation draws its inspiration from winemaker Tim Adams roots in South Australias Clare Valley. Clothed in copper tones, his Pinot Gris exudes apricot, pear and lychee augmented by a whiff of spice. The offdry palate has a viscous, nicely weighted feel that complements perfectly the seductive fruit flavours and finely judged citrus finish.
The slight rose gold hue to the wine, matches the equally rich and robust fruit characters on the palate. Our 2013 Pinot Gris reveals opulent pear, lychee and peach flavours complemented by subtle lemon zest, fullness with slight sweetness in the middle palate and cleansing acidity. The wine can be enjoyed while it is young and vibrant or will reward short-term cellaring. A great food-wine, enjoy it with Asian cuisine, seafood and salads.
