Stoneleigh Wild Valley Chardonnay is a well-structured wine crafted using fruit picked at optimum ripeness and is wild fermented by the micro-flora that occur naturally in the Rapaura environment.
The palate is well-structured and well-integrated showing lovely peach, citrus and caramel flavours with an oaky complexity - while demonstrating textural weight and balance with a soft, creamy finish.
Aromas of nectarine, white-fleshed peaches, citrus peel and cream join with smoky toasty oak notes. There are also nuances of vanilla and a chalky minerality.
Serve lightly chilled on its own or as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes including white meat, poultry, pasta and fresh seafood.
