Dark inky red in appearance. The nose is rich and layered with black plum, black cherry, nuances of mocha and chocolate and hints of cardamom and black pepper spice. The palate is richly textured with ripe dark fruits and suave tannins.
Hand picked grapes were gently de-stemmed and fermented as whole berries in small vats. Gentle hand plunging has resulted in supple tannin structure. Maturation in French oak barriques has added complexity and depth.
