Dark plum colour. The nose is rich with scented chocolate and ripe berry fruit notes. Full bodied palate with dark fruits and liquorice flavours. The structure is firm yet balanced, with lingering ripe dark fruits.
Handpicked Gimblett Gravels grapes were fermented in small vats with aerated pump overs, hand plunging and long maceration to develop fine tannins and complex flavours. The wine was then aged gently in oak barrels before being bottled.
