Named after one of the legendary early swaggers who used to clear the land of scrub, making way for what are now Martinborough’s legendary vines. This Pinot Noir is aptly named since it’s all about easy access – bright flavours, light body and cheery cherry flavours.
A bright cherry fruited nose with raspberries and blackberries.
Hints of leather, crushed herbs and undergrowth appear on the palate, to go with the blackberries and raspberries.
There is a light dusting of oak tannins towards the end of palate and the end result is juicy and very drinkable.
