Gran Patron Piedra is produced from 100% Weber blue agave plants from the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The "tahona" stone wheel slowly crushes the agave and the resulting juice is then fermented and distilled with crushed agave fiber. The distillate is then aged for a minimum of three years in a combination of new American and French oak barrels.
Gran Patron Piedra is deep mahogany is color, boasts complex aromas of fruit, fresh mushroom, citrus and agave. The full-bodied palate is slightly sweet, combining the herbaceous agave flavor with light vanilla, spice, clove and toasted oak, which extends through the long finish.
