The harvested grapes were crushed to fermenter. After a short pre-ferment maceration the fruit was fermented with careful cap management. The wine had 14 days post ferment maceration and after daily tasting to find when the wine had gained its optimum texture it was run off the skins and pressed for maturation. The wine was then aged in French oak for three months.
This 2013 Vineyard Selection Pinot Noir has vibrant bright colour and a rich bouquet of dark cherries and complex earthy notes.
- The palate is medium bodied, showing lovely sweet fruit and ripe supple and savoury tannins.
