Gibbston Valley Rose Blanc de Pinot Noir 12.5%, 750ml
After hand picking the fruit was destemmed into an open top fermenter. Gentle handling pre ferment allowed desirable fruit characters to be extracted – slowly. After a period of 2 days, the berries were pressed, yielding delicate yet intense juice. Fermentation at a cold temperature followed, stopping at a dryish 6.6 grams/litre residual sweetness.
AROMA AND PALATE:
- Delicate translucent ruby colored.
- Flush with lifted vibrant wild strawberry and berry notes, the nose is all summer.
- A pleasant crisp dryness on the palate balances the genial lingering flow of strawberry flavoured fruit.
