The grapes were harvested from mid to late March 2013. The fruit was gently pressed before being fermented in a number of stainless steel tanks with a variety of yeast types. Ferments were at cool temperatures to retain the very distinctive regional and varietal characters.
Aroma and Palate
- Brancott Estate Flight Sauvignon Blanc shows fragrant lemongrass aromas with an almost pungent tomato leaf intensity.
- On the palate the sweetness of these flavours is balanced with pink grapefruit-like acidity.
Cellaring & food matching
- Though made to drink upon release while still young and exuberant, Brancott Estate Flight Sauvignon Blanc could be cellared for up to two years from release.
- Best served chilled, you can enjoy this Sauvignon Blanc on its own or with a variety of foods from delicate to spicy grilled or barbecued seafood to green salads and Mediterranean dishes.
