The grapes were harvested from mid to late March 2013. The fruit was gently pressed before being fermented in a number of stainless steel tanks with a variety of yeast types. Ferments were at cool temperatures to retain the very distinctive regional and varietal characters.
Aroma and Palate
Brancott Estate Flight Sauvignon Blanc shows fragrant lemongrass aromas with an almost pungent tomato leaf intensity.
On the palate the sweetness of these flavours is balanced with pink grapefruit-like acidity.
Cellaring & food matching
Though made to drink upon release while still young and exuberant, Brancott Estate Flight Sauvignon Blanc could be cellared for up to two years from release.
Best served chilled, you can enjoy this Sauvignon Blanc on its own or with a variety of foods from delicate to spicy grilled or barbecued seafood to green salads and Mediterranean dishes.
