The grapes were harvested from mid to late March 2013. The fruit was gently pressed before being split to a number of ferments in stainless steel tanks with a variety of yeast types. Ferments were at cool temperatures to retain the very distinctive regional and varietal characters.
Aroma and Palate
On the nose, Brancott Estate Flight Pinot Gris shows an array of sweet fruit aromatics from guava to white peach supplemented with sweet lemon and nashi pear notes.
These fresh fruit flavours combine on the palate to create a fullness with delicious citrus-like acidity to create balance.
Cellaring & food matching
Though made to drink upon release while still young and vivacious, Brancott Estate Flight Pinot Gris could be cellared for up to two years from release.
Best served chilled, you can enjoy this Pinot Gris on its own or with a variety of foods from delicate to spicy white meat and seafood dishes through to salads and cheeses.
