The grapes were harvested from mid to late March 2013. The fruit was gently pressed before being split to a number of ferments in stainless steel tanks with a variety of yeast types. Ferments were at cool temperatures to retain the very distinctive regional and varietal characters.
Aroma and Palate
- On the nose, Brancott Estate Flight Pinot Gris shows an array of sweet fruit aromatics from guava to white peach supplemented with sweet lemon and nashi pear notes.
- These fresh fruit flavours combine on the palate to create a fullness with delicious citrus-like acidity to create balance.
Cellaring & food matching
- Though made to drink upon release while still young and vivacious, Brancott Estate Flight Pinot Gris could be cellared for up to two years from release.
- Best served chilled, you can enjoy this Pinot Gris on its own or with a variety of foods from delicate to spicy white meat and seafood dishes through to salads and cheeses.
