The wild fermentation in oak barriques tricks the uninitiated into thinking this is going to be a smorgasboard of fleshy stone fruit with just a hint of the expected capsicum and herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc characters. The oak fermentation has also imparted some coconut spice, and there are hints of butterscotch. Sauvignon Blanc however, returns in force to electrify the palate with the fresh fruity "zingyness” synonymous Sauvignon, leaving the palate cleansed and excited for more.
